Testimonial
May
20, 2001
Dear Steve,
This is the kind of letter I love to write. After my first
visit to you seeking help with my insomnia, I knew I was in
the right place.
Many professionals take so little time to listen what the
patient is saying and feeling. I found you to be a very good
listener and would ask questions in a "problem solving" way.
We were able to combine herbs and acupuncture and I was able
to see improvement each time.
My sadness is you moved out of my area and have relocated
in Arizona. All I can say is Tucson is lucky to have you!
Best Regards,
D.V.

Our Credentials
Company
History
HanLing
Acupuncture Healing Center is licensed as a sole proprietorship since
May 2001 and opened its door on June 1, 2000, offering a full-service
of Chinese medical services including acupuncture, herbal prescription,
acupressure massage, and Oriental facial rejuvenation. The owners,
Steve Liu and Wen Ting, have both worked and managed an acupuncture
center in Northern California, which is owned and operated by Steve's
acupuncturist's mother, Dr. Grace Liu, and have received extensive
training in both clinical and business skills before relocating to
Tucson, Arizona. The Healing Center was modeled after the Northern
California clinic and has adopted many of its successful programs
for the new Tucson center.
HanLing Acupuncture Healing Center is a new complementary health care
business based in Northwest, Tucson, Arizona that provides Oriental
medical solutions to the general public. The business name consists
of two Chinese characters Han and Ling. Han implies Chinese Medicine
and Ling stands for forests. Together they refer to the medical solutions
the Center provides to its patients is like a shady sanctuary to the
sicknesses in a hostile environment, such as the desert around us.
The business has initially structured itself as a sole proprietorship
and plans to incorporate in the early part of 2002.
Currently the Center has two full-time licensed acupuncturists, Steve
Liu and Wen Ting. Wen is also certified in acupressure massage and
is licensed in facial rejuvenation as an esthetician.
The Center offers acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, acupressure
massage, and Asian facial rejuvenation. We will actively promote this
form of healing in the Northwest communities by sponsoring many free
workshops and seminars. We feel the more our patients are educated
about the medicine the better they will be willing to come try the
treatments.
The Center will expand to include a medical research and development
department for laser acupuncture therapy (LAT) protocols and tools.
The protocols will be tested in well-designed double-blind studies
and the results will be published for the possibilities of peer review.
The Center will be actively seeking sponsors from the traditional
medical community to supply qualified experimental subjects. Laser
acupuncture therapy has been studied for years around the world and
shown to be extremely safe without side-effects. The goal of the LAT
R & D project is to make the Center an authority for laser acupuncture
therapy in the world.
