Dear Steve,

It is difficult to describe through words the incredible results that I had through your amazing acupuncture treatments to my eyes. I will be forever grateful to you not only for the treatment success but also for all that you taught me about living a healthy, purposeful life.

I noticed my vision starting to deteriorate for about 9 months and progressing quickly during the last 6 months of that time. I was unable to read newspapers, magazines, unable to read labels at the grocery store, unable to read price tags, unable to read recipes. I had no “straight lines” in my world because everything was wavy which made me feel off balance. I had to stop driving. My eyes were very sensitive to bright sunlight.

In October of 2014 I was examined and x-rayed by my ophthalmologist who confirmed dry macular degeneration. He said there was nothing that could be done. I was very discouraged because at 66 I did not want to be blind. I was also told that I was very close to developing glaucoma. My vision was 20/200 in my left eye and 20/80 in my right.

Through a cousin I heard about your treatment for macular degeneration and after consulting with you I knew that was the direction my life would take. I began treatments in early January 2015. When I awoke the morning of the 5th treatment day I was amazed that my vision had improved and I was again beginning to see clearly. Horizontal lines were only slightly wavy and the grid test for macular degeneration was normal. I continued through the 10 days of treatment and my vision steadily improved. I was reading newspapers and magazines without a magnifying glass. I had my eyes retested my ophthalmologist after the treatments and my testing was normal for glaucoma and 20/40 for vision in my right eye and 20/30 in my left. Grid test for macular degeneration remained normal. I am driving again.

It is now 4 months since treatment. I just completed another exam with my ophthalmologist. He is thrilled (as am I) that my eyes have stabilized at 20/40. Grid test continues to be normal. I also have noticed that my eyes are no longer extremely sensitive to sunlight. This is incredible.

I am so very thankful to you, Steve, for the amazing healing you helped me achieve. I am also very grateful for all you have helped me learn about healthy lifestyle from eating vegetables and fruits (especially blueberries), exercise and attitude of gratitude.

I had my exam on Tuesday and the results are as follows:

• Left eye improved near sight from 20/70 to 20/60 and approaching 20/40
• Left eye did not change with respect to far vision and remains at 20/200
• Right eye improved near sight from nonexistent to 20/70 which is amazing
• Right eye improved far vision from 20/400 to 20/200, also a remarkable improvement for something that has been considered dead for 7 years.

Thank you Steve for giving me back a little of the sight I had lost.

I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration 22 years ago and have seen my sight slowly leave me.  After just four days of treatment I could go out into the sun without my sunglasses, with very minimum discomfort, where in the past, the sensation would be like needles in my eyes.  After two weeks of treatment I can now see the lines on the paper as I am writing a letter.  In the past when writing a letter, I could not find where I had left off if I took my eyes off the paper.

I can now connect without difficulty.  Another plus is that I can now recognize friends and relatives without getting right in their face.

It is a long way from Oshkosh to Tucson, but return I shall.

I would like to share my wonderful experiences I had with my acupuncture at HanLing Acupuncture Healing Center, Inc. for the following:

I had a stroke in 1993 and life was never the same after.  My right side from head down to my toes was tingling, numb or painful.  It was a lot of discomfort.  Last yea I tried acupuncture with hope that something would happen.  Sure enough, after a few sessions of acupuncture, and with Dr. Steve Liu’s expertise, knowledgeable, and compassionate treatment, I now feel much better.

For the past seven years I have been undergoing eye treatment for my glaucoma, but there is no improvement.

Last February 2005, I started my low vision acupuncture with Ms. Wen Ting, knowledgeable, compassionate and also an expert.  After two weeks of treatment, I can now see clearly, no more glare when I drive at night.

My name is Jerre P, and about 5 years ago I leaned I had Macular Degeneration in my right eye.  The retina was gone with no real symptoms at all.  I was left with only peripheral vision in the right eye.  It was the dry MD; and therefore, no treatment was available.  My left eye was 20/20 however.  So I depended on it greatly.

That is, until September or October of 2004.  My left eye was becoming watery and weak feeling, and it became tired easily.  It was becoming harder to do daily tasks; as my vision weakened.  I soon began seeing globs of “gre” in my vision.  I went to the eye doctor and was told a vessel had begun bleeding and that I was developing the wet MD in that eye.  A laser treatment was done to stop bleeding, but I was told there could be more.

I began Acupuncture at HanLing Acupuncture in December.  The results have been and are amazing.  I am again able to see 20/20 in my left eye.  It is stronger and healthier feeling in every way.  I am no longer afraid that I will be without my vision in the near future.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Liu and Wen Ting for their knowledge and skill and kindness.

In May of 2009 I started seeing a specialist for Retinal consultation, having told I have impaired central vision.  The central vision of my left eye has been gradually decreasing over the last couple of years, and I am 74 years old.  I was seen on June of 2009, after 3 treatment sessions, follow-up of Nonvascular AMD.  At that time I was told about a new treatment, because my vision was not improving.

After talking with you about my problem, I took the decision to start with this new treatment for Macular degeneration.  After 10 sessions my vision improved about 50%.  I just want you to know how much I appreciate the efficiency of your treatments, as well as your gentle and compassionate approach.
